Former lead vocalist from the group “The Staccatos” is celebrating 50 years in the industry – Polokwane

CALLING ALL MUSIC LOVERS IN AND AROUND POLOKWANE! Steve Ashley a former lead vocalist from the group “The Staccatos” is celebrating 50 years in the music industry and will be performing the SMASH HIT “Cry To Me” in Polokwane on 4 May 2019.

Steve Ashley sang for “The Staccatos” one of the most successful bands in South Africa. Steve is a World Class exhibition of pure pitching and vocal power. He is a phenomenal singer/entertainer and an artist in a class of his own! With 50 years of live experience, he will entertain any audience who enjoy Solid Gold Hits 50’s to 90’s, Ballads, Country, Pop/Rock and some current songs.

The Staccatos was made famous with hits like “Come Back Silly Girl”, “Butchers and Bakers” and “Cry To Me”, they have also opened for other legendary artists such as Chris De Burgh on his South African tour in 1979. Steve has recently surfaced again in the live music performance industry after a long break.
